JE NE SAIS QUOI
Roast Profile: Medium/Light
Producer: Cocarive Co-operative
This exquisite regional coffee is the result of collaboration among numerous smallholder farmers who are proud members of the Cocarive Co-operative in Carmo de Minas.
The selection process for the coffees in this regional blend is meticulous, focusing on variety and impeccable quality, managed by Cocarive. In Brazil, an increasing number of farms prioritize overall cup excellence over sheer volume. By meticulously handling the growth, harvesting, and processing stages, these smallholder farmers consistently produce outstanding quality coffee.
The combination of altitude and mineral-rich volcanic soil creates an ideal environment for cultivating sweet, well-balanced, and incredibly flavorful coffees.
Based in Carmo de Minas and serving multiple municipalities in the region, COCARIVE is dedicated to producing specialty coffees that foster the region's development. Nestled in the mining face of the Serra da Mantiqueira, blessed with fertile land and an excellent climate for specialty coffee production, COCARIVE has consistently excelled in quality contests throughout Brazil.
COCARIVE provides its members with professional expertise in evaluating and tasting various coffees, elevating their commitment to specialty coffee production. Their ongoing project focuses on high-quality coffees, aiming to enhance the product's value and solidify the region's national and international recognition as a producer of specialty coffees, exporting to destinations like the USA, Japan, Australia, Korea, Belgium, Italy, and more.
